چکیده
Free space optical (FSO) communication refers to the information transmission technology based on propagation of signals in space. FSO requires that transmitter and receiver directly see each other. High-altitude platforms (HAPs) have been proposed for carrying transceivers stratosphere. A multihop HAP network with links can relay traffic between ground nodes. In this study, we propose an end-to-end switching model forwarding massive pairs nodes over a network. protection mechanism is employed improving survivability presence clouds, which may break line sight (LoS) HAPs We algorithm designing topology survivable network, given set The results demonstrate that, even though networks capacity use more resources, they are not necessary much expensive than those without terms equipment, i.e., devices, wavelength resource utilization.

Telecommunications over High Altitude Platforms
Provision of broadband services is raising increasing challenges, particularly in operating environments requiring wireless access. In this context an emerging solution based on aerial platforms is attracting increasing amounts of research effort. This concept combines some of the best characteristics of terrestrial and satellite communication systems, and it provides alternative and complement...
متن کاملSpace Environment and Evaluation of Typical High Altitude Satellite
The space environment consists mainly of high-energy charged particles, such as protons, electrons and heavy ions. They are originating from several sources including galactic cosmic radiation, solar flares and van Allen belts. High energy electromagnetic radiation and neutrons have also been measured on spacecraft. Although shielding can reduce the effect of space radiation it cannot be elimin...
متن کاملDesign of High Altitude Platforms Cellular Communications
Cellular communications using high altitude platforms (HAPs) will predominate the existing conventional terrestrial or satellite systems but requires some optimization especially in the cellular radio coverage design. The design of HAPs cellular system suffers from increasing cell area when directing the same beam to cover lower elevation regions and therefore requires some modification in its ...

متن کاملHigh-altitude platforms for wireless communications
The demand for high-capacity wireless services is bringing increasing challenges, especially for delivery of the ‘last mile’. Terrestrially, the need for line-of-sight propagation paths represents a constraint unless very large numbers of base-station masts are deployed, while satellite systems have capacity limitations. An emerging solution is offered by high-altitude platforms (HAPs) operatin...
